The purpose of the research is to study the variation of the support surface, the distribution of loads and the center of gravity oscillation, before and after a session, which lasts about 20 minutes, on the posture chair with mechanical vibration LIFE.

For the research object of the study has been used the strength springboard made by the firm "Sensor Medica" which has got a software dedicated to the pressure analysis of the breech support, as well as the analysis of the stability for the study of the ability of the management of the balance. The people of the sample were 17, from 50 to 80 years old, 8 women and 9 men. The procedure included the baropodometric and the stabilometric analysis and, after, the 20 minutes of sitting on the posture chair LIFE in a quiet location with low lights, with the association of music which leads to relax and the concentration in the sensations induced by the cycle of the vibrations. After this treatment there was the repetition of the tests described above.

It has being taken in exams the values of the maximum pressure exercised in the springboard and their position compared with the support polygon, the alignment of the centers of pressure, the geometric analysis of the back avampodalic relationship, the distribution of the support surfaces, the paths of the transfer of the forces and the respective curves of load - surface - pressure, as well as the entity of the center of gravity fluctuations on the frontal and sagittal sections. The deviation from the reference values leads to postural and walking instability, as well as more weariness and district overload with the sensation of a unease condition. As more as a person retrieves a better support and the postural balance, is higher the perception of a condition of well - being and balance.

From the compared study of the tests has been lighted the following information:

The projection on the ground of the centers of gravity of the body, at the beginning situated in a decentralized position compared to the total polygon of support, have changed considerably going near the ideal alignment, as well as the centers of pressure on the anterior - posterior section, in particular the point of maximum pressure went to the back - podalic of left, as standard, bringing on the physiological values the allocation of the load between the lower limbs right and left. In addition there was also a little increase of the surface of contact with the ground, probably for a reduction of the state of tension of the breech band. About the compared study of the stadiometric test, all the people examined have increased the management of the balance with the eyes open, while in 3 people it has been unchanged the fluctuation of the center of gravity skein with close eyes. This last result has been real meaningful, in fact it lights the improvement in the management of the postural framework in comparison with the gravitational field, or better a more balanced framework, coordinated and ergonomic.

From the results of the comparative study of the data analyzed, the treatment on the posture chair LIFE brings to a reprogramming of the postural movements through the reduction of the muscular tensions and the major proprioceptive awareness of the mio - fascial system, this bring an increase of the capacity of management of the locomotive system, beginning with the reorganization of the podalic support and the balances ( static and dynamic), together with the distribution of the body masses more coherent with the gravitational field, so low dispersion of energy and major global balance, leading to a postural framework more ergonomic and a more efficient and coordinated walking.
